Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC)
The Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) is where qualified Pennsylvania businesses can receive a tax credit for scholarship donations. The EITC program is a great way for community businesses to get directly involved in education. Your eligible tax credit will help students at St. Joseph Catholic School by awarding children a scholarship for tuition assistance through the Erie Diocese STAR Foundation.
Businesses can designate the use of their tax dollars to our K-6 elementary school and receive a 75% tax credit for a one year contribution or 90% tax credit for a two year commitment. A tax credit of 100% up to $10,000 to our Pre-K school is also available. The program is a win/win for both St. Joseph students and businesses.
